Looks like Nissan is making an announcement next Friday in the States to reveal the next gen 2020 Versa sedan...

That's the 2019 Rock the Ocean's Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Why is this important? Because the current K13 Versa sedan and Micra are based on the same platform, sharing drivetrains, suspensions, interior parts, etc. So this could hint at the next gen Micra's future here.

Spy shots of the Versa sedan (called Almera in some countries) have been posted. It looks very conventional -- definitely better in my opinion than the current Versa sedan:

The biggest clue that its made on the K14 platform is from a couple of shots comparing the dashboard/A-pillars/door details to the new Euro Micra.

If the U.S. market car is going to be made in the Mexican Aguascalientes factory where the current one is made (where our Micra is also made), that means they're possibly also tooling up to make the K14 Micra there as well.
