    Spare Tire Removal & Inspection

While removing my rear wheels to clean up my brake drums I decided to try lowering the spare tire to check it.
The lowering bolt inside the rear hatch was super tight & could not be loosened using the car's supplied tools.
I ended up using my 2 foot long torque wrench & a socket to get the bolt to loosen after removing the tool tray.
Once down I found the spare at only 32.5 psi so it was pumped back up to 60 psi.
I also sprayed the bolt/latch assembly under the car with some anti rust material.
I suggest doing the same exercise on your Micra.
