Sandblasted / chipped rear rocker panel and dogleg (potential rust problem)

Hey guys have a look at your rockers in front of the rear wheels. It happend again on my new SV and it has had mudflaps since day two! I never took any pics this time but you can look at the start of this thread to see it was the same as last time.

so the madflups failed?? i wonder what is the solution?
