Yes, the low kilometers cars -- the "Little Old Lady" cars -- should also be considered "cheap" in the context of how much they cost considering what you get.

Around 2006, I bought a 7 year-old Firefly with less than 3,000 km on it for $4500. That's $6,547 in today's money (B.O.C. inflation calculator). It was like getting an almost new car.

Don't let the calculator bring you down too much! There's always room for dreams and creative financing. Who knows, that ex-Micra cup car might just find its way into your garage someday. Keep the faith and happy car hunting!

The thing looks brand new!.......no rust that I can see....esp for an Ontario car......if the body was sound, perhaps it would be worth the money to drop in a new engine(if needed) or suspension parts......the wreckers are full of totaled Micra's with parts ripe for the plucking.....and at fairly reasonable prices too.....

Whoops.....didnt see the front end pic.....thats the thing with Micra's.....safe little cars that can get out of tight spots easily, but when they are in an accident....they "crumble like old ladies teeth"-w/apologies to A. Hydar, my Grade Nine shop instructor.
