For the winter tires yes I will certainly use the stock wheels. As for next summer I don't know but a set of lightweight alloys like the Enkei Racing RPF1 would be really nice.

I pick my Micra SR up on Monday! I love it, affordable enough that I can still go back to nursing school. I am going from a 2012 Mercedes GLK350 4matic. I was hard to please, but this car makes me happy.

With good snow tires, I would have confidence in it. Decent ground clearance too (for a small car).

I ended up getting a set of Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 for 440$ (after 70$ mail-in rebate that I should receive by 2018). It's almost the same price as a single tire on the SUV, so I'm enjoying the move to 15" tires.

That's incredible. But I often think of that when I look at all the giant tires that are being equipped on many new vehicles. $$$$$
