Another soon-to-be Micra Owner

Just got the call I've been waiting on for weeks... picking up the Micra tomorrow night

Don't want to pry too much, but would you be able to state the date which you ordered your vehicle? I put my deposit on one on the 21st of last month, still not even reach WIP stage yet... this would be a great help.

Hey PocketRocket - no problem. I initially put my deposit down at the first dealership on June 21st. They were unable to locate the car I wanted and basically told me to pick a different colour or go with an automatic over manual which I didn't want. Anyway, ended up getting my deposit back and going to a different dealership. That was on June 26th. This second dealership was able to find me an SR in the colour I wanted, so now I am picking it up tonight.
Otherwise, I would have been waiting for at least 8 weeks for a factory order I'd say.
The wait is killer, though.
