I have a 2015 Micra standard tranny with 190k on it.I was driving down the highway at 90k and the car died coasted to a turn off and stopped.Restarted engine would not go above 2000 RPM.Limped home no check engine light on.Lifted hood could not smell anything or see anything wrong.Restarted engine and it reved to 6000 RPM and drove it 50 K no problem.Found thread that says if computer thinks brakes are on it keeps RPM below 2000.
