Likes...

- quality construction and 15 inch wheels even on the base $9998 model
- adequate in-town performance
- most agile handling in its class

Dislikes...

- rear seat room not great, but no worse than Mirage or Spark
- loud ("rude") engine noise when pushed
- particularly sensitive to crosswinds (as are its competitors)
- fuel economy (CVT would have helped)

Overall...

[Aside from fuel economy,] it is equal or superior to its rivals in terms of interior space and driving behavior while being more affordable equally equipped.

A lot of these reviewers miss the point that the Micra is the only name in its class that has survived from the 1980's, with dimensions and characteristics true to the original.
