We were going to go the full sized pickup route, but that's a little too redneck for our tastes. The Torrent has been a reliable workhorse that has never let us down. I installed a trailer hitch and wiring so when we need a bed to haul dirt and stuff, it's only $20 a day at U-Haul. Sally loves driving it to her job at the gym.

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

Wow. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL pics! Thanks for sharing those. Spring is not that far along here in the eastern side of the province, but it's getting there.

Is that the Brock monument? Namesake of my city.

I love this fantastic Micra. Love the ride. Love the colour. Love the size. Love the light in the hatchback. Love the bluetooth. Love the fact the rear windows go all the way down. Love the headlights that someone took time to aim in the right places. Love the fuel filler being on the drivers side. Love that the fuel filler door locks from inside the car. (No need for key.) Love the stainless steel license bolts put on by dealer.

Longer exposure time, lower ISO, smaller aperture (higher F-stop)...you'll need a tripod...kind of like this:

If you had a tripod, or even some place to set your camera on, and then used a long exposure or nighttime setting, I'd bet your nighttime pictures would turn out great.
