    Hey everyone,
Finally got around to test fitting the new (used) wheels and tires on the Micra the other day.
They are Speedy Fin 7 wheels that are wrapped in 235/45/17 Bridgestone Potenzas that are on their way out. Mounted specifically for fitting purposes.. They clear and only rub on the mounting points for my mud flaps however I might try to go one size smaller tire wise in order to ensure that they clear without rubbing (with full tread depth). Something I also noticed while checking their fitment was that the front fender lips are already "rolled" and the rears are completely tucked back in on themselves so I won't have to do that like I thought that I might.

Fully compressed the suspension on a speed bump nearby. Only wheel on the bump and there was no rubbing around the tires front or rear.

235... how wide's the rim? Seeing stuff like this, how easy and nice that looks, makes part of me sad I have 8.5" wide rims lol I'm finishing up the rear tonight using 3" flares.

They are 7.5" wide. I dont know how you are able to fit 8.5" wide! I feel like I am almost maxing the available space out as it is. Are you also running 17s?

They're also 17's, but yeah they don't fit :P I originally pulled the fenders to help with that and used thinner bolts to get more negative camber in the front. As of tonight I'll be finishing up the flares and hammering back any of the stuff that's touching the tire while reversing lol

If I am not mistaken it’s 195/55R16 stock for the 16”
And 185/60R15 for the stock 15”

Hi Impul, yes you are right about that. I was just wondering if anyone has advice for what tire size to run when on lowering springs. Was thinking a 205/40/16? Maybe a 45?

How much are you lowering it?

    I’ve used 205/55r16 with 1-1/4” drop
And 225/50R16 both lead to some rub.

There are tabs for mounting the front/rear bumper fascia to the body.

Removing these tabs and using the quick release system helps. If you want more you need to roll the genders out abit
There can still be some rub on cornering so get use to not going full lock.
Using a drift angle kit can help that but now your looking at a few cerb chqs.

I'm lowered on coils and currently running 205/50/16
