2015 Micra paint exterior colour choices (Updated for 2016)

The colour list for 2015 from the Nissan.ca web site.

What I find odd is three of the colours aren't available on the top line SR. Usually car makers restrict colour choices on the base model.

And three of the colours are an extra cost option, at $135 (metallic blue, silver & Caspian Sea).

	Red Alert - available on all models - no extra cost
	Metallic Blue - not available on SR model - $135 extra cost option
	Brilliant Silver - available on all models - $135 extra cost option
	Magnetic Grey - not available on SR model - no extra cost
	Super Black - not available on SR model - no extra cost
	Fresh Powder (white) - available on all models - no extra cost
	Caspian Sea (blue/turquoise) - available on all models - $135 extra cost option

Of these, I think I'd go with Fresh Powder.

Looks like Brilliant Silver has been dropped from the 2016 Micra. At least according to the info on Nissan's news site.

No new colours added (boo).

Thats because the silver ones go faster and they didn't want people going too fast... Uhm. yeah..

Shame on getting rid of the silver. I guess people that have the 2015 in silver will have a somewhat limited edition then.

This was one area I did do my homework, and after the salesman finished the purchase order for powder, I said, "I really like the grey one in the showroom; I've changed my mind". (typical woman)!
He said it's more expensive, I played dumb and said, 'really'?, to which he said, we'll leave it at the powder price. Not a huge savings, but some nonetheless.

Howie, your post made me laugh! The Micra looks great in silver.

I just noticed the magnetic grey above: no extra cost. Mine was, and online it stated that also, for the same price as the others. It also looks so much darker in the photo's and on the website.

Nothing new on the colour palette for this year, according to Nissan's web site.
