It was a horrible weekend for Olivier Bédard and his new team. He got a dq on Saturday for being light and it went from bad to worse for him as there was a micra cup version of a nascar "the big one" on lap one in which at least seven cars were involved with various damage but Olivier car was destroyed completely. Out of my respect for the young pilot and his crew chief and Albi I never even took a picture of the car it was that bad! I talk to him briefly after and he said he was ok and was walking around fine but I being in few wrecks myself have to wonder how he will feel tomorrow but then again he is nineteen so he might rreally be ok. The team I was helping was micra cup the organization. I wss to report to the chief steward. I Was voluntold what to do and I did it everything from checking license to running the scales, registration of all the cars checking the engine seals you name it. It was a wet race on Saturday and slicks on Sunday. Oh and yes I was weighing cars when the champ was light which brings up the fact that in my role I couldn't be a fan so to speak I had to be impartial and the champ knew that so it was cool. There is a car from Peterborough that is my new favorite wrap job and I think some of the enviromentalists on here will like the sponsorship as well. Enough typing hers some pics.
