    Newbie from Lévis QC

Hi there , well another car means a new forum

Some recent changes in my life got me to get a more ''Familly friendly'' car. Also to spend less money in my car so I ve choosen the Micra as my new econobox.. A red SV !

I will have it in my driveway next week, and I'm already getting my basement filled up with parts (well those I can find..). For now I got my wheels (SSR Hart sprint R) and I got in contact with someone in thailand for a set of fender flares, hoping they are willing to ship here . Also speaking with someone frome SCALE suspensions to get me a set of custom coilovers for the beast.

That's about it for now , as I cant find much more about the engine or exhaust it will be very fun to make my own parts like I did for some previous cars

Here is my last econobox that I really enjoyed I hope the micra will be as fun

Welcome, bienvenue! I too came from an echo ('05 5 dr bare bones) and yeah, it's about the same size but belts for three in the back.

When i told my colleagues that i bought a micra.. i usually get laughed at... One of the guy even said that i, as a manager, deserve better than this box with 4 wheels, I should get a BMW or Benz ...

My answer to this is that... i have been a long time hatch back driver, enjoy the easiness of parking, control, and fuel efficiency. Not everyone enjoy super powerful cars, or roomy cars! I like my box with 4 wheels!

    Welcome!

I also had a 5 door '05 Echo prior to getting my Micra. As much as I like my Red SR I wish it had as many storage compartments and cubby holes that my Echo had. There's so much wasted space in the Micra. They could have easily put 2 glove boxes into the dash board.
