You want the aluminum 1991-1992.5 30mm calipers with the rear pots centered.

Left and right with pads delivered duty paid. With 3 wix filters just shy for $500
Brembo max 09.8137.76 just wow .. But $$$ I'll probably use something cheap I can grab off a shelf.
So I'm thinking 300zx ss brake lines are a must. As the fitting for the caliper is needed.
I'm hoping the connection at the line is universal.
Still have to order my spacers and long hub bolts.
Now that we have the size required I'll probably just source the quickest available set instead or hope rhdjapan actually has them in stock instead of waiting on back order.
I'm gonna check now

I haven't been able to find an "off the shelf" rotor yet.
Mini Cooper is close but even thinner then clio.
Ferodo blanks were gunna cost $170+ with shipping. But there only $75 and no one has them here.
I gave up and took the plunge . With shipping about $200

Brembo max 09.8137.76
Also ordered my long hub bolts from rhdjapan
http://www.rhdjapan.com/nismo-long-h...14-3-50x8.html
Still need spacer, brake lines, fluid.
Most of these will arrive by mid jan. So I'll be posting pics then.
Probably install before cias. That's my goal anyways.

So I received my calipers. They are new replica aftermarket OEM spec calipers that are exactly like sumitomo calipers minus the Nissan/sumitomo branding. +/- ... + less then half price, - made in china.. + brand new hardware, - unknown quality/reliability vs sumitomo. + not subject to 19-25years of fatigue + no cracks or leaks + some type of warrenty.
All in all .. I'd rather pay $450 for a pair of brand new calipers then $1000+ for rebuilt used ones or rebuilding junkyard finds for cheap.
I'm happy and I can always paint a logo on them if I feel like it.
I did some math and here's the differences
Pad - 2mmx30mm extra - 177% increase in surface area and usable material.
Piston - 1>4 - 233% increase in surface area
Rotor - 42mm 120% increase in size.
Brake line - I forget the stats but it's like 120-150% increased response thru less expansion
Plus there's the obvious, a larger caliper can disipate heat better.
So can the brembo max rotors .
I'm ordering the spacer and brake lines tmw. It should all be here by jan 13th

So it seem that the micra and 300zx may both have m10x1.0 fitting. So these brake lines should be a direct fit.

And spacers

Pete (12-31-2015)
I just found out that k12 rear drums are 203mmx38mm vs k13 180mmx26mm
A combination of premium shoes, larger drum and width/length of shoe and rear braided line and possibly venting the drum should balance the rear brakes nicely.
There's also a 224mmx54mm drum... 4x114.3 but if I'm venting anyways?!?? Might be worth it.
Impul brake shoes
K10-180-impul bsr-16
K11-180-impul bsr-17 ** closest to cdn k13 also the cheapest brake shoe**
K12-203-impul bsr-42
For the simplicity of it I'm gonna try the k11 180mm drum shoes and rear braided lines and vent a set of cheap drums.
The impul shoes are carbon type ( higher coefficient then low steel above .50)
Rotor appropriate tempteratur
32 - 986 F
Material
Non-asbestos

Probably why they are 130,000¥

Semimetalic .40 coefficient up to 300C ( must be slotted to avoid fade )

I found out the hard way that most if not all 300zx front brake lines come with female ends.
One is suppose to be male for the caliper.
This can be rectified by built your own HEL brake lines
Or with a union fitting male to male m10x1.0
I found some locally at a hydraulic shop. Cost me $17.75 cdn rockauto called me in response to an email I sent them about the issue.
They assume bad info was handed down from the OEM manufacturer to aftermarket as it affects all the products they carried. They are updating their listings to reflect this, and issued me a refund of $13USD. Kudos rockauto!
Rotors, spacer, and long hub bolts should arrive soon.
