confirmed, right rear bearing gone. tech said the drum design allows for all kinds of stuff to get in and dries out the lubricant. Only 21,000 km on mine. I am going to start driving this thing hard...

I haven't noticed anything loose or out of place either. When coasting downhill I release the throttle and the noise persists. It actuslly gets louder the faster I am traveling. But no grinding....
just coming across this thread. I have just within the last few days noticed a loud hum as i drive above 50-60kms. What does the bearing issue sound like? I thought it was the tires, as if something...
