This reviewer has posted an unusually thorough look at the Micra, and seemed to be pleasantly surprised by it.

Pros...

- can't be beat on price
- pleasing styling (except the backup camera wart on the hatch)
- tons of headroom, adequate legroom
- decent fit/finish
- useful trip computer/info screen
- good stowage/cargo options
- "surprisingly satisfying to drive"

Cons...

- seats lack support
- not the best fuel economy rating
- felt "nervous and floaty" above 110 km/h
- engine noise at higher RPM
- suspension / tire & wind noise

Overall...

Sure, you might want more toys, or more power, or more space. But if you’ve got a limited amount of money you care to spend on your ride, you might find that the Nissan Micra offers a lot. Maybe even a lot more than you thought.
