China's getting the Micra too: the Venucia R30

Looks like Canada isn't the only country with a Micra on the horizon.

Carscoops reports that Nissan's Chinese operations has introduced a somewhat restyled Micra called the "Venusia R30", which goes on sale within a couple of months. (The company sells cars under two brands in the country: "Dongfeng Nissan" and "Venusia".)

The Chinese Micra will come with a 1.2L 3-cylinder engine offering "segment-competitive" fuel economy and power. The article doesn't say whether that engine is the same one offered in the Micra in many other countries.

I predict Nissan will move more Micras in China than Canada next year.
