And yes, the block heater has many advantages: easier starting, faster warm-up (cabin heat sooner), better fuel economy, less engine wear. I don't wait for bone-chilling temps to start using mine.

Good news, they said they will replace the seat cover that is dammaged. They say they will call me when they receive it to have it installed. They will have to remove my seat, replace the bottom cover and put the seat back. I guess a few hours of work. I am glad they are doing it because I bought a brand new car and it should be pristine, not with a dammaged seat. I got hangry there because at first they sort of implied that I did it! That got me really hangry because I don't even know how it's possible to cut a seat like that and it was there when I got the car.

Oh yeah, it happens sometimes. They cover the seats with plastic film for shipping. Depending on what they removed that plastic with on PDI when it rolled off the truck, they might have been a little overzealous.

I think the only thing that could have cut the seat cover like that is an Exacto. You are probably right that they removed the plastic on the seat and cut through the material.

An update on my car seat. I had an appointment today and they replaced the dammaged seat cover and now my seat is just as good as new. I am really happy that they finally got this right!

Yep. Yesterday I washed it all and did the interior. Now I feel like I do have a brand new sparkling car It's such a cute car.

Very happy with the dealer so far. The more I drive it and the more I like it. We prefer the ride in the Micra over the Honda Civic (2012). It's more silent on the road and the ride is smoother.
