Been driving more "Spiritedly" as I'm nearing the end of the break in cycle, I'm surprised that I'm still able to easily beat the highway EPA estimates according to Fuelly. The on-board computer still overestimates the fuel economy, it was showing 5.9L/100km. I'm guessing I'll be able to keep the engine wound up fairly high all the time before I start to match EPA estimates.

Seems my fuel economy has dropped significantly once I started driving like this:

Hey AlphaMicra, how does that FUELLY thing work? Do you just plug in your own numbers? Maybe I'm figuring something wrong, but your 6.5l per 100km works out to be ~43.5mpg (imp) and that sounds low to me.

Put in the amount I pumped in, the cost per liter, and the mileage of my car at that point. The way I drive, that's actually pretty good.

Ok, I see. Also, I think you should change user name to LeadFoot!

It is mixed driving, city and highway, with plenty of bumper-to-bumper traffic...but yeah, my right foot can be a little heavy...

Can't judge unless you post the amount of gas you put in the tank each time...but if you filled up from empty each time, 1458 on four full tanks of gas isn't very good at all. I'm estimating between 8-9L/100km.
