So I was getting a bit sick of my aftermarket speakers being suffocated by the seats, so I spent a few hours and made up a panel for the rear hatch. The sound projects extremely well, and it sounds amazing. Attachment 3450

I'd also like to mention that it is going to be carpeted, and I may re-do this project with the speakers angled forward.
cool:cool:
you may find it needs some support off the hatch in the middle at the back. i put a rubber piece there to rest on the hatch when its closed. also i put a support across the middle. I made a template also (its a sticky!...so proud!)
A template would be awesome! I couldn't find the thread, though. I used 1/4 hardboard, and it slipped between the supports and the pivoting points on the sides, then I added a piece of 3/4" MDF as a brace that runs between the supports. Overall it's a nice snug fit, and I can even flip it up to face the speakers in towards the front of the cab.
