I still think you'll enjoy the car once you start driving it. It'll take the bitter dealership taste away.

I will not go into the cost of the actual labour as each body shop will quote you differently... but the parts are 350 ( rounded up a dollar ) for a set of left and right hand skirts ( primed ) before taxes. I also managed to get a quote for the rear privacy cargo cover part number is 3N3N3-1HKOA, however I do not feel like paying 196.25 for such a flimsy piece of plastic.

As sad as it is to say, used K13 Micra parts will soon begin to show up at auto wreckers.

Yup. I made one for my Firefly. Used pressboard instead of cardboard (as in the first video), and covered it with thin automotive trunk carpeting from a junkyard car. Probably spent about $10-15 for materials.

$196.25? That's insane, and it is a flimsy piece of crap, shouldn't cost more than $20, probably cost them less than $5 to make. I could sell mine for $100 and put that money to much better materials and fabricate something better if I had the time.

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.
