Rotors & Pads Done (Photo of Process) Meep had a pedicure ;)

New coated rotors and ceramic pads. Less than 8k on the stock rotors and they are toast. Bought the gear local. 2 year warranty ceramic coated.

wow ive never seen such little contact....either you never use the brakes or id make sure the sliders are well lubricated..along with everything else

whoa..u need to spray the whole underneath with oil/diy rustproof/something

usually i take a giant file and "resurface" the original rotors because they have "seasoned" and wont warp much more. i have never bought a new rotor in 40 years of owning cars!

    that said...brakes look better!!!

    2015 Micra S (manual)
    no A/C /no power options/ block heater/4x 2 Ohm speakers...all factory stock in 2015
    Feb 2015 build
    9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016
so receipt says $8,399....+1600 .... so they look good i guess...for a brand new car!

The sliders have been serviced regularly - It's the perils of living in Newfoundland with 9 months of road salt. I'm an ex auto-detailer and aside from getting an expensive seamless coating such as Linex - nothing will prevent the rust where I live. We've tried it all from faithful rustcheck, asphalt, even a full linseed coating - I even wash the undercarriage regularly throughout the winter. Once rust starts, sealing it in makes it worse - and most are rusty right from the dealership. We get about a 12-13 year lifespan out of a vehicle around here and that's it.

My Hummer H3 with a factory coating and only 70,000km had 3 chassis repairs.

    Yes, I've considered moving LOL
