Motor small oil leak (timing chain cover)

I was at the dealership for my oil change for my 2016 micra that's only about 16 000 km.

They told me they notice a small motor oil leak. It's under warranty but anybody else had that issue??

I asked if that's common they said Québec winger condition a are rough on gaskets. But the car isn't even three years old. I've never had similar problem with my previous car. Cheap gaskets used by nissan maybe?!

    Which gasket is leaking?

This is the first report of an oil leak that I've heard anybody mention.

They told me it's the seal of the timing chain cover...

When I went to pick my car back, I asked more question and the guy said on the assembly line, they put a liquid silicon type of gasket for the timing chain cover and sometimes it's just not done properly or they don't put enough so they re-did it properly this time.

Hopefully it's not gonna be an issue from now on.
