Today the micra cup race was awesome. Then after that we did a photo shoot and some video and then I did an interview. Then they had all of us do a video where we were all standing in front of our micras together and we shouted GO MICRA GO MICRA CUP on cue and then it ends with the promoter giving us the start signal and we drive out of the paddock area back across the track up the hill and off into the woods. Nissan have been treating us to a great time.

Today is the final micra cup race for the championship. Although my personal favorite had a bad luck day yesterday and was rear ended on the last lap while leading. We were able to fix the car with help from the TOTAL team and parts from nissan including a tie rod and a steering box (rack). It is a beautiful morning here in mont tremblant for a motor car race and as I sit here on the front step of my motel watching the sun rise over the mountains I am super pumped for the races today and for more of the great food and fun that Nissan has provided for us.

Here is their suspension when using the nismo S kit.
This weekend they were running black coils and struts.. So the stock ones.
I guess after they break it, they cant wait 6 weeks for nismo to send more..

You mean you actually dove in and helped them out? That's cool. (I recall you've got experience wrenching on race cars.) Oh - why did his car need front end work if he got rear-ended? Did he get punted into the wall or another Micra?

Sounds like a great weekend, and some good hospitality from Nissan. Sorry I missed it. Meanwhile back on the ranch, I rented a van to help my sister move a bunch of stuff, and celebrated my nephew's birthday. Fun, but not as fun.

Yeah I literally left my daughter with PTBO ran across the track offered up my micra for parts then as soon as his car was released from tech inspection and the team had it on stands I crawled under to lend a hand, got greasy minutes before the interview where I plugged the forum well I think although I was very nervous and could have answered the questions better if I wasn't. The front end work was required as he was hit from behind spun and then T bone. End of the day he won the championship and he is a very worthy champion who's team and family won this thing on a budget with limited resources but I want to save that for another thread. Awesome weekend can't wait to see the pics.
