Two weeks ago I discovered the frame beam on my '94 Suburban was rotten with only 390K on it. With a '98 Jeep for hunting (moose will be interesting) and towing the boat we leapt to a new met blue Micra yesterday..
Great fun and I am still laughing at the thought of it's gas mileage.

Back to basics. Reminds me of the 510. With a few suspension mods I betcha this unit will be even more fun. Dealer here in BC referred to it as a Quebec special. Allo, les boys.

Rusted out with only 390K on it??? What did you do, buy an Ontario imported one?

Congrats on your Micra. We've got a lot of Quebec Specials in the garage (technically that's the base S model with manual, for those who haven't heard).

Rust had to do with saltwater and a boat launch that wasn't great at lo tide. Previous 'Burb ran until 440K.

I'm from Quebec and knew after the test drive the S model would be huge there. Why buy a salted used vehicle when you can go new, with flair, at this price.

Aha! Boat ramps leading to the ocean. Frequent saline vehicle teabagging is not good.
