I don't have the gps on my service but my friend does and he can go online and the gps portion displays a map and the location of his vehicle. He recently had his vehicle in for body repair (hit a deer) and he could see that the truck was still in the shop. When his wife was taking the truck into the city he could tell what mall she was at. A fella could have some fun with that. His insurance agent told him the gps was included as a recovery tool in the event of its theft.
