Micra warranty repairs -- have you had any done? Or trouble-free so far?

Just wondering if any of you have had to take your cars in for fixes at the dealership. Small or large items, post 'em here.

On the other hand, if you've gone many km with no problems, definitely post that as well.

The ones I can think of, offhand:

    • Dani3d had a torn front seat cover replaced

    Anybody else?

On my K13 the fuel pump was replaced under warranty. It made a hell of a noise...

Perhaps was it when the gas pedal was pushed to go from being stopped?

Actually purchased it with unknown rust that they're also claiming not to cover because it was the previous owners fault. Was owned by a Nissan exec. Who had a crash and needed lots of repairs. Repairs weren't done properly and painting wasn't done proper either. Fast forward to me buying and outer pain looks fine. My car was badly egged, so I was cleaning it off when I noticed rust in wheel well from botched repair. They claim it isn't their problem and I have to go to 3rd party repair shop to get it fixed as it's their fault and they have to fix. They don't know where it was repaired ( I call BS because if it was a Nissan exec car they probably repaired it) and so I'm stuck with an almost 3 year.old car with bad rust.

Rust was definitely there when purchased as I bought in May and found rust in October, way before salt and snow.

Are you by any chance in the habit of running tank very low before re-filling? I've heard that's hard on fuel pumps.

    Hi everyone,

Well, couple problems since I got it July 2014.

-Winter 2014-2015 : Trouble defrosting windshield, no start need to tow, snow coming out air vent
-2015: Some recall concerning dashboard, dash temperature gage stuck on hot(in summer lol), water infiltration in right side light,
right front bushings need to be replaced.
-Winter 2016 No fan power no heat in windshield or at feet, temperature gage stuck again, no start battery dead and needs to be replaced vehicule has to be towed.
The micra has the basic setup of a Versa, when I saw snow coming out of the vents I kinda knew what was the problems origin but I let the pro's deal with it. It took a year and a half and Nissan Canada engineers 2 weeks to figure out that if the Jap's put a freakin filter it was for something lol. It was as simple as just dropping one in and voila. Did not have any problems yet and its been at least a month now. Fingers crossed

Block heater assembly replaced on my car. Wheel bearing too. Both warranty repairs.
