    Hello from Calgary!

Greetings. I got a Ruby Red, 5-speed, Micra S and am very happy with it. Everyone told me to get an automatic but I really enjoy driving the standard and I feel like I'm a better driver with it. Before I was using Car2Go smart cars and taking the bus so the Micra is a BIG step up.

    Welcome, Minnie!

What's Calgary like in the heat of summer? Concerned at all about the lack of AC? Somehow I think it may not be as humid there.

I'm not concerned about lack of AC for myself (I don't think Calgary gets that hot), but passengers may well complain. I'm planning to get those beaded seat covers for the front.

I got a flat a couple of weeks ago and had to buy a new tire. Over the weekend I looked more closely and it turns out that Kal Tire installed the wrong tire: P185/65R15 instead of P185/60R15. Watch out for tire professionals.

Good catch. Was that a front or rear tire? You wouldn't want to drive very long with different size front tires (a little harder on the transmission). Different rear tires wouldn't be a big deal.

Calgary: I've only been a few times, so I can't really comment on the heat. I stayed a couple of days once, and have passed right through a bunch of times (BC road trips). The last time was a couple of years ago, helping my cousin move from Kelowna back to Ontario.

It was the front passenger side tire, so I wasn't thrilled.
