Yup, but it's the closest ski hill to Brockville -- about an hour and a half. My brother and I have passes -- been about five times so far this year.

Well now that all of Canada is into football (soccer) after the women's world cup, the men are in the Gold Cup (think Euro's for Central and North America) and play today and tuesday v. Jamaica and Costa Rica respectively. Check it out if you can and support local soccer!

Going to the swimming finals at the Pan am games on Friday with my daughter who is going into her forth year of competitive swimming herself so it should be fun. Go Canada Go!

Not going to any Pan Am stuff myself.

Summer sport for me involves sailboat racing. I crew on a Shark (24 ft keel boat) in the local races one night a week. (Does it count as a sport if the only time I break a sweat is when it's hot out and there isn't enough wind to stay cool? And the standard post-race recovery drink is produced in a brewery?)
