Just want to say that the Micra's engine bay isn't as tight as some have suggested. You can't step in and walk around like you could on a 1.2L K10 Micra, but there's still plenty of room in there for maintenance and add-ons. FWIW, I wouldn't have put that 90 degree bend in the aftermarket intake unless it went all the way into the fender.

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

How much clearance is there between the hood and filter? It looks like the filter would be heavily shrouded by both the battery and hood. From the pics, I can't tell if the Micra has a lower hoodline or the Note.

from what i can tell, there's a good 3 or so inches between the hood and the filter on the Note and as far as the bend in the stock intake i honestly think nissan did that to tone down the sound the engine makes as there is a considerable difference in sound between the stock intake and the aftermarket intake and as far as the bend in the aftermarket intake, im pretty sure they did that to keep the intake as far away as possible away from the heat of the engine

Thanks for the picture Note-ified. It really looks like the injen intake should fit the Micra.

Has anyone actually confirmed that the injen kit fits our Micra's? I'm dying to start modding my Micra S, but I can't find any concrete evidence as to what fits and what doesn't...

Thanks, Mighty. Please post details when you get it.

I personally wouldn't worry about fitment.

Awesome. Thanks Mighty! I was waiting on it because I've actually ordered a spiral cell battery for my S, and was thinking that if I didn't have room for the filter on top of the battery a la Versa Note, I'd be able to mount my battery horizontally and squeeze it in there. Keep us posted and thanks again!!
