    But did you know Canadians actually buy more pickup trucks (per capita) than Americans? I was surprised to read that recently. Read it on thetruthaboutcars.com, but I can't find the link.

    yes because we actaully use them in the back country..most truck sales in america are to soccer moms dropping the kids off at school.

    So we're more extreme: we buy far more small cars AND far more big trucks, per capita. Interesting.

    yes. I am moving towards smaller rigs now, micra and Jeep patriot for our off road/adventure rig. Both are great on gas.
