Here's another question: can you describe how the Micra is generally perceived in Holland (or elsewhere)?

Based on a couple weeks watching Twitter, it seems that in the UK a typical car "enthusiast" sees it as something to be a embarrassed over. There is of course the famous Top Gear review of the pink convertible Micra (bag over the head).

A car for older people, that's what I read a lot. True, it's easy to handle, the seat position is a little higher, it has good visibility all around the car. But I'm not that old (42) and I like all the senior features as well ! ;-)
Here in Holland a lot of K11's are still on the streets, mostly single moms or older people. K12 is mostly older people and the K13 is mixed, young and old.

I can honestly say that the K13 matured a lot compared to the K11. Fun and easy to drive, cheap maintanance and when you go for full options, it really means full options these days. Just look at the specs of my K13.

The K12 C+C was a hideous car! I've only seen a few in all these years on the road in Holland. But it did have the 1.6L with 110bhp.

A Micra with a 1.6 liter engine and a manual gearbox is great fun to drive, that much power in such a light car.
I only drove the smaller engined older K versions. In the manuals that was adequate, but not beyond that. The CVT was best avoided, though a bigger engine like the 1.6 would have given it more right of existence.

(the Canadese Micra will have a conventional 4 speed auto though)

Still running the same tires. The tires are Bridgestone B250 175/15/60. Not the greatest tire, when the K13 was introduced in 2011 only this tire was available. These days more tires are available for the K13, no more Bridgestone B250 for me!

I think it's time to lower the Micra, those gaps are huge...

Anybody lowered the Micra already? I guess the Eibach Pro kit is the way to go.

Dirty there Hollandia! Glad you went with blacked out rims, looks sick! Lowering is a must, a inch atleast! Those gaps are huge, its as if its made for 17s. My sentra spec v has the same issue, and those are 17s.
