Is there a seat belt reminder sound on the micra??

I was just wondering how it is for you guys because I've only got the usual light in the dashboard and no sounds. I thought maybe mine is defective lol. Or they just took off the feature to save money here and there..

I am so glad this is silent. I was really happy when I discovered it's not buzzing every 10 seconds. No sound, just a light in the dash, perfect!

On seat belts... just in case there is someone even thicker/slower than me out there : I just noticed the other day, that the shoulder belt hanger is adjustable! Can't see anyone actually needing it unless you 7' tall though.

Due to my off beat choice in cars, I've never come across this feature.

I adjusted mine on first day because I am small, it is very usefull. I don't have the seatbelt passing around my neck.

On most cars you can disable this sound anyway. On Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep you turn the ignition to on (not start) then buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt 3 times and then turn the ignition to off.
If you are interested, in most cars, resetting the oil change indication is turn ignition on, fully press the gas pedal 3 times and then turn the ignition off.

    I like rituals.

No magic ritual like on Chrysler. You could to jumper the switch on the belt, but the air bag makes decisions to safely deploy based on your seat belt being buckled.

what we do is simply buckle it behind us. When we go to photograph some birds we often ride along country roads very slowly and having the seatbelt is a nuisance, so we buckle it and sit on the seat then. It works well. The rest of the time we wear it.
