I bet there weren't any painted door handles or mirror caps on the Micra back then.

Strange that they put the black pillar on the car with the painted mirror and handle, and they put the painted pillar on the car with the black mirror and handle. just wierd.
    Too funny.

man, the micra just looks really tastefully designed. it doesnt give me the embarrassing vibes from the spark, mirage, and sometimes yaris.

The Yaris isn't too terrible, but you're right, a lot of cars in this segment look tastelessly youthful and tacky.

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

Or like they were styled 10 years ago (Mirage).

I didn't choose the Versa NOTE as I didn't really like the physical lines and the front grille. If I didn't work for a Nissan dealer, I probably would have gone with the sporty Honda Fit as seen in this TFL4K Mashup seen here: http://youtu.be/GGSsFO_HDW4

The Chevy Spark (at my Chevy dealership I also work for) with its snub-nosed design is just FUGLY, seats were cramped & uncomfortable, and the mileage isn't up to par with other hatchbacks. I'm very happy with my MICRA!

    poverty caps!

So it's clear the black/not black detail differences on the S vs. SV are too subtle. I think Nissan should have put different wheelcovers on the S to further differentiate it / shame buyers into upgrading.

Hideous, base model "poverty caps"! (Remember those?)

Nissan should just pay me for this stuff. I'm here all week.

hehe, the 30-something base trim owners would rebel against you for that!
