I was looking at the dimensions of the other filter mentioned here, that fits the Hyundai, and it seems thin. Wouldn't it be best to fit snug against the walls of the cavity so no air escape and all be forced through the filter? If the thickness of the filter and length isn't good, wouldn't the air flow around it?
Sebastian, did the one for the Versa that you purchase feel like it was fitting tight after you cut it? Is all there is to it, is to cut it to the proper length, I prefer this until Nissan makes one for this model.
BTW, I was reading here that someone had the mention by the dealer on the car tag, that this filter was in. My window display didn't include that part. Not sure why it would be delivered empty beside the obvious cost reduction.
