Chrome Exhaust Tip

aside from cosmetic, is there any other reason for a chrome exhaust?

My friend who won a Micra asked me that same question. I said, it just looks nice.

I wanted to use my credit from the manager of the dealership to buy things I could 'see' to put on the car, to make up for the dent, nicks and scratch that the car had on delivery (I noticed later at home). So I got some fun and practical treats for it!

+10 hp at least, and on a silver one, +20 hp!

You bet, and the MF decals give it 5 extra hp! But, mine's grey, it looks silver in the close up, so at least I won't get speeding tickets! lol

Found a 15 buck chrome exhaust tip at Canadian tire...sanded it, painted it and muffler with hi temperature paint. Not much bigger than stock pipe.
