Hey is it just me, but every time I lock the door from the inside and close the door, it automatically unlocks said door ( the driver and passenger side) I find this strange.

Its a convenience/safety feature so you don't lock your keys in the car. You have to lock it from the outside. My 2003 Civic does the same thing.
Oh, well thank you very much for the answer . Was going to bring it up at the dealership on monday when I apparently am getting a new panel and some of the accessories put on.
