Fuel economy is effected by soooo many factors. You could have had a massive tail wind or something. I'd wait until you at least do a full tank to try to make sense of it, unless you can see a pattern developing.

Yes I know you should get less fuel economy as it gets colder, but why am I seing the opposite? suddendly my car went .6 liter/100km more efficient and the weather is getting much colder. You will understand what I mean if you read my last post.

nope, no massive tail wind and when I return from work I am actually facing the wind, and exact same driving habbit and speed. Same roads taken. This tendancy is going one for a few days now, with different driving situations. Temperature have dropped quite a bit since the weekend, but that's about it.

Yes I agree that I must wait until this full tank is over, then I can see for sure. It's only been 3 days since I reset the fuel average.

Hell, these cars are so light and nimble, eating a can of beans before hitting the road would likely increase your fuel economy. And your emissions of greenhouse gas if youknowwhaddimean..

LOl! yes I got you today was the same. -9C this morning, lots of wind, but 6.5l/100km when I arrived at work. The real test will be on my next fuel up.

Running snows, cold weather, lots of wind, winter gas, spending too much time in the hammer lane...still loving the fuel economy, I took this today:

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

I had fuelly as well. But with the wife sometimes driving the car (hers is a gas guzzlin 06 Grand Caravan) it can be really hard to track down how much fuel she put in, what price, etc..

I average 6.4 and have an admittedly heavy foot. 80% city.

I was just wondering about Alphamicra since he's got a fuelly banner but he's not using it anylonger.

I signed up for Fuelly myself, haven't even used it. It's hard to keep track of.

Oh and Alpha, i like the quote you have under your banner. My thoughts exactly!
