Is anybody else hearing people mis-read or mispronounce "Micra" into "Micro"?

I've heard it a few times now.

    Or how about this mix-up...

Wouldn't it be easier to buy one of those Toyota Micra's at $10K ...

One person commented, "How's your Mica?"

Um...doing fine in my rock collection, I suppose...

I haven't heard that one yet but a co-worker told me this morning that she thinks that i washed my car too much because it shrank. I have also noticed that alot of young people really frown on small cars here. I always thought that the younger generation would be more accepting of "eco" cars. I come from the city of the big truck though.lol

I'm 6'4", and I've had comments about the car being so small, asking me how I can fit inside. I ask them if they ever watched Dr. Who, and when they say yes, I tell them it's like the TARDIS.

I think there are a lot of people who frown on small cars, but I believe that stems from the fact that they secretly would love to drive a fun little car like this, but lack the self-confidence to do so. Sour grapes.

    I had someone ask me:

    "Where's the rest of it?"

I purposely wait for people in pickup trucks to fill up, then pull in beside them.

Dick move I know, but lol.

I keep telling me the best part of my car is that when it runs out of gas, you stick the key in the trunk and wind it up again. Or that the versa is what happens if you overinflate a micra's tires.
