    OBD port fuse?

Does anyone here know if there's a separate fuse somewhere for the OBD II diagnostic port, or which fuse controls it?

I bought a ScanGauge recently to get a coolant temperature readout (and just for the data) and plugged it in for the first time yesterday, and all worked great. I drove around for probably half an hour checking things out, then went to the office for a few hours and it was working when I drove home, but this morning I turned the car on and the unit was dead. I got my multimeter out and the port itself seems to be dead, there's no 12V on the supply pin.

I haven't been able to find any info specific to the Micra but other info about the ScanGauge says the OBD port usually shares power with the cigarette lighter, but mine is working. In fact I can't find any blown fuses, and all the other electrical systems seem to be working fine.

This is on a Canadian 2017 Micra SV 5spd, btw.

I hadn't checked the fuses under the hood, but then I did, and none were blown.

I had the car in for service today and asked the dealer to plug their own reader in, and it worked fine. Then we tried the Scangauge in a couple other cars on the lot and it never turned on in any of them. I never did figure out which fuse controls the port, but the manufacturer suggested to send it to them for repair so I'm going to do that.

    Thanks anyway!
