    2017 Micra transmission question

Hello guys! New member here. I'm replacing the automatic transmission is my niece's car. I'm a mechanic but it's my first time working on a Micra. Nothing too alien there but when I pulled the dipstick out of the transmission, there is a notch where the dipstick should be but no dipstick. I guess I have to fill the tranny from this filler neck but how do I know it's full?. Also I have a service manual for the Micra but not for the 1.6 engine one. Do you guy have a working link to a shop manual that has this particular engine/transmission combo? Thank you!

Ok I read a little bit. So if I get thing right, you fill the transmission until a steady stream of oil comes out of the drain plug with the car running and In park. Is that it? Since I replaced the transmission from a used one, how much oil should I expect to put?

so people have done this be accuse they cracked the pan on stuff, but FROM MY UNDERSTANDING the drain plug has about a 2" plastic tube above is,so no matter how much you pour in it can never overfill, on the flip side draining it completely /more requires some ingenuity...there is no manual available...unsure if suppose to be running or not.

    2015 Micra S (manual)
    no A/C /no power options/ block heater/4x 2 Ohm speakers...all factory stock in 2015
    Feb 2015 build
    9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016
so receipt says $8,399....+1600 .... so they look good i guess...for a brand new car!
