so i left the headlights on because i wanted to see something on the driveway and got out...after about 2 minutes they shut off!!...car starts fine.
QUESTION
so do they stay on for a TIME or a battery voltage drop?
running 8 year old oem battery ...so kinda curious
never had a car where if you turned them ON...they shut OFF!!!!!!

I think it might be a time thing. Once, I forgot to turn them off when I went to work. I could feel that sinking feeling when I came back and realized what I had done. Car started up without any hesitation. If it were a voltage drop thing, it would either have a really high cutoff point to do that. Otherwise the car would have chugged a bit to get started.
