Long term availability of micra parts

Hi everyone. I am new to this site and am looking for some information.
I am looking at buying a 2015 Micra and since the his car has been discontinued in Canada my concern is parts.
Does anyone know how long parts may be available from dealerships or is there aftermarket sources for just regular replacement parts?

    2015 Micra S (manual)
    no A/C /no power options/ block heater/4x 2 Ohm speakers...all factory stock in 2015
    Feb 2015 build
    9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016
so receipt says $8,399....+1600 .... so they look good i guess...for a brand new car!

2019 model has the same parts as the 2015 model. Our Micra is also stll produced in Mexico and is one of the most sold car in this country. I'm pretty sure Nissan or someone else could be capable to import pieces in the future.

Most of the parts for the Micra are the same as the Versa Note. If you log onto parts.nissan.ca and find the part that you require on the diagrams, then compare to the Versa or other model with sam part numbers. Pretty much all of the parts for this car are parts from a different vehicle. And it also seems to be cheaper if you are buying Versa parts than Micra parts for some reason. Do a bit of research and save lots of money on parts.

Really don't think that will be an issue long term. Normal serviceable parts will take years to vanish as you must remember the car is known as the March in other countries so even if they change the skin a lot remains the same. Not worried about our 2015 SV...

Can confirm, the SX4 was actually quite a little popular car in my city despite Suzuki pulling out, as we had a popular Suzuki/Mitsubishi Dealer.

There are two or three in my neighbourhood still used as daily drivers, which is impressive for NS because they haven't entirely turned into rust buckets (yet).

I even see the illusive Kizashi here and there, and someone on my street even has a Suzuki Esteem Wagon in red from the late 90s! I would be genuinely curious to see just how many Suzuki Esteem Wagons are rolling around in Canada, i'm guessing not a lot?

    Totally unrelated:

My uncle used work at CAMI installing the exhausts on their cars at the factory in Ingersoll, for the Swift/Metro/Firefly, Vitaras & XL7s, later working for GM when they assumed full control after Suzuki pulled out.

The same (guessing much modified) plant now makes BrightDrop ZEVO 600 Vans for GM, neat.

There have been many sketchy reports of Suzuki returning to North America with it's much more modern and (hopefully) successful products, but who knows.

Stellantis (specifically Peugeot) said they were also returning to Canada, and then ended up cancelling it in 2021...which sucks because we have very little choice for small cars here in Canada at present.
