Here in Ontario the prices vary widely….anywhere from $16000-$23000. I paid $16900 for this one. It came with a new set of winter tires (Michelins). I pretty sure this car was under $16,000 when purchased brand new. Inflation has really caused used vehicle prices to skyrocket.

In today's market, I think thats a very fair price indeed, esp when they included Michelin snowies.........I cant believe how much prices have increased since I bought my Micra in Jan 2021......

I drove home today with the new Micra. The tank was full and I reset the fuel economy monitor on the instrument cluster. I drove 208 km with approximately 10 of those kilometres being in heavy city traffic. I then proceeded to set cruise at 110 km an hour and drove down a 400 Series Highway to home. There is approximately a 20 km stretch where the speed limit is 80 km an hour and I set cruise to 90 km an hour.

According to the read out I averaged 6.2 L per hundred kilometres. I couldn’t be happier as this exceeded my expectations. I presume that with my normal commute to and from work I should be able to get my fuel economy well below 6 L per hundred kilometres.

    Woohoo!! Congrats all around.

Of course, actual consumption is likely a bit higher. The display in the last Micra I tested was about 8% optimistic vs. doing the math at the gas station (actual fuel used vs. kms).

    Please keep us updated !

I'm interested to know what the difference from the Mazda works out to once you've got a few tanks averaged in.
