Resale value is through the roof

Anyone look at the resale value on our loved Micra?

I am pushing 100000km on my 2017 and it looks as if I can almost sell it for more then I paid for brand new 😂

Who knew a micra was a sound investment,

    2015 Micra S (manual)
    no A/C /no power options/ block heater/4x 2 Ohm speakers...all factory stock in 2015
    Feb 2015 build
    9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016
so receipt says $8,399....+1600 .... so they look good i guess...for a brand new car!

I got that covered. Just installed these cases on yesterday. Also have a 46litre trunk that will be going on at some point. I honestly hate having those on, as they just destroy the look of any bike.. But they are extremely useful for commuting and long trips. Heck, I do believe I now have more trunk space on my bike, than the Micra.

My only thing stoping me from selling the car is snow... Rode multiple time in it over the years.... It always sucks. Snow driving is best done in a car.

When I look what dealers are asking for 2019 Micras with 20K on them, I cant believe I had the good luck to purchase mine when I did(Jan 2021)....Im amazed Nissan wouldnt try and trot out another K13 version and take advantage of the demand for good, reliable and fairly economical transportation, that can accommodate someone(at least in the front seats) who is six foot plus....

Supply is tight on vehicles and good luck getting a deal lower than list on new. Even the used market is up 30% or more depending on what you look for. Selling is good but will supply come back n 12 to 24 months?. I was at a KIA dealer here in Edmonton and the salesperson said the list on all the loaded SUV's went up 10K in 2021. Not interested in a KIA but I did buy a used 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI Autobahn with 28K on it. easier to bargain at an off brand dealer.
