Question Has anyone replaces the climate controls?

Hey all long time no see!

I am considering upgrading the climate control to the ones they have in the UK (electronic display one).

Has anybody tried this and been successful? I hate the look of the 3 knobs and everytime I order new knobs they don't show, so I want to replace the whole unit with this:

TIA and looking forward to the responses.

I suspect you'll need a lot more than just that unit. There are at least two mechanical cables coming off the back of our climate controls. You're going to need whatever controls those as well. Not to mention you may need whatever harness plugs into that unit.

    9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016

You'll need the entire dash with it which has the servos inside. Electronic / automatic H-vacs work with servos that operate baffles to control the temperature. The Canadian Micras use a base model style dash that is wire operated while's in Europe and Mexico there was / is electronic H-Vac option. Japan's K13 March also has the option of electronic H-Vac above base model.
