2017 Nissan Micra SVI do a lot of highway driving since I live in the county. I travel about 60,000km/year and my vehicles typically see a lot of rocks hitting the front end. I installed added protection for the condenser by using a plastic mesh intended for usual use as a gutter guard.
The front bumper cover of the Micra is very easy to remove and takes about 10 minutes.
The gutter guard is made out of a UV resistant plastic that is about $7.00 for a 20ft roll. It works great and will last the life of the vehicle. I secure it using some zip ties.
