Just wondering if anybody has attempted a manual swap and the micra. I have a 2017 automatic and I can feel the CVT starting to go. Just wondering if anybody has attempted a swap on this car as I have not been able to find anything.

Micra doesn't have a CVT! (In Canada)

It's a traditional 4-speed auto torque converter/slushbox. I don't recall hearing of any transmission failures. CVT's definitely don't have as good a reliability record as old school slushboxes.

I don't know of anyone who's done a swap, but the parts should be easy enough to find - buy a wrecked 5-speed.

You'd probably have to swap the ECU/PCM as well, though, and I"m not sure how well that would go (security key, digitial odometer, etc.)

Know what would be easier/cheeaper? If your transmission is actually going, it'd probably be less trouble to just repair/replace it, sell your car, and then buy a manual Micra.

Don't forget the shifter linkage, shifter itself, and clutch system. Sure do miss the old days where it would be a straight swap.
