self isolation additions (Micra projects during Covid!)

So I had a few things I wanted to do to the car in the spring, and since we are isolating to the house/yard anyways and the weather has been pretty decent here, I decided to do them a bit early. I added fender lips, front and rear bumper skirts, and Im in the process of making my own side skirts. I'll continue on them later in the spring once stores return to normal and im not just shopping for essential items.

Make sure the area of adhesion is clean and free from any scuffs or dirt really well. The install was pretty straight forward though. Its peel and stick so we'll see how well it holds up. I was doing it at around 10°C, so i used a hair dryer to heat up the plastic bumper and the 2 sided tape to help the adhesion as I was going along. I also installed it with the bumper off, since I was removing it to do some other work anyways, but doesnt need to be removed.

    2015 Micra S (manual)
    no A/C /no power options/ block heater/4x 2 Ohm speakers...all factory stock in 2015
    Feb 2015 build
    9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016
so receipt says $8,399....+1600 .... so they look good i guess...for a brand new car!

    Thanks.

I cut out the plastic grill last summer and installed a black aluminum mesh grill. It came in a roll. I did that for a couple reasons. I was switching out types of fog lights (as you can see from some of my older pics) and needed to decide what I was going to do with the holes I had made. and 2, after the Micra meet last year there was some mention of the large grill allowing rocks etc through and damaging the rad. So...this is what i came up with.

Front lip brand is Powstro? Ordered off Amazon

Your car looks great. Make hay while the sun shines!

I've never actually seen wheel arch lips before. I suppose I don't hang out with enough Subaru / Evo owners? Strikes me as AWD/"crossover" bling?

Thanks. Work in progress. They have a body colour wheel arch thing built into the bumper/fenders on the Nismo S version March. There are a few "March/Micra" people that I follow on instagram where I had seen it and I thought it just looked really good, so that's what I am trying to replicate...sort of. "Canadian" version. Originally I was going to paint match them, but not sure now. The flat black looks better then what I thought it would now that there on.

Coincidentally my daughters boyfriend is a hardcore Subaru guy with an STI. He put fender flares on it over the winter while it was laid up. It looks awesome on his car, but certainly not the kind of look I want for a Micra lol.

Hey Richard, can you please let us know what the offset on your wheels are? I see from your garage that you have 17" wheels and 215/45/17 tires. They look like they fit great. Any rubbing or issues? Offset specs would be awesome. Car looks nice! Thanks!

I do have a bit of rubbing in the back with both of them under extreme conditions (2 adults in the back and go over a bump or something), but under normal circumstances as our daily driver to and from work, errands etc. no rubbing. Its never been enough thats I've been concerned about it. And I've never had any rubbing in the front.
Not sure if there would be much difference between your Tanabe springs and my H&R springs as far as ride height. I would think they would be fairly similar.
