Has anyone re-jigged the front wipers?

I can't stand the set-up of the front wipers - especially now that our Newfoundland winter has set in.
If you want to flip the windshield wiper arms up, you have to flip the driver's side first or it will bump into with the passenger side and won't stay up. And the passenger side wiper never really seats properly at the cowl (it stays up a little on an angle). I would like to replace the whole system with either two equal arms & blades or just one larger arm on the driver's side.

Has anyone changed out the entire wiper set-up or have any suggestions a to a system that will fit - perhaps from another car or even another model from another country?

Just an annoyance I'd like to remedy.

The kink in the passenger side wiper is a Canada/U.S. thing. Regulatory requirement for "swept area" of the blade.

If you look at pics of Micras in other countries, the passenger arm is straight & it parks closer to the cowl, like the driver's side. So if you could order something online, you should be good.

Thanks for the reply Yea Canada requires a few extra cm of sweep - so we end up with screwy wipers because of it :/ The Mexican, UK & Asian versions look much better but I haven't been able to find a supplier for the arms. I've tried several Mexican Nissan dealers in the past for other March parts and all said they can't ship - So I'm guessing it would need to be aftermarket. Aliexpresss has blades but no arms. Was hoping someone here made the swap and knew where to get them.

I would imagine that the RHD countries like the UK and Japan would be a bad idea, as the wipers I think are mounted in the other direction.

    My catalog tells me:
General LHD: 28886-9LH1A (Passenger) and 28881-9LH1A (Driver)
Euro LHD: 28886-1HB3A (Passenger) and 28881-1HB3A (Driver)
Canada: 28886-9LE0A (Passenger) and 28881-3AN1A (Driver)

Google takes me here for the Euro ones:

    https://www.ebay.ca/itm/28886-1HB3A-...t/332617185351

Now, whether or not these are the ones you're looking for, I don't know.

Is it possible for you to contact Mexican wrecking yards?

    Thanks for some great ideas!
It never occurred to me they could be mounted in the opposite direction. Thanks - I'll be aware of that.

Thanks so much for the part numbers - Awesome, this will help a lot.
I'll definitely look into wrecking yards too.

    Great help!
